Our doctors and staff devote every working hour to our patients and the people who love them.
We care for all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, small rodents, and many reptiles. (Sorry, no birds)
At North Cape Animal Clinic, we emphasize high quality modern medicine in conjunction with compassionate and gentle patient care. We pride ourselves on helping people to provide the best possible care for their pets.
At Creature Comforts Pet Resort, we provide a sanitary, comfortable, and caring environment
for "vacationing" critters.

Dr. Laura E. Bogert:

|
As a proud graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, Dr. Bogert relocated to Southwest Florida in 1990 immediately following graduation. After having gained experience working at several area animal hospitals, including stints at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Fort Myers and the Humane Society of Collier County, she fulfilled her dream of becoming a clinic owner. She has owned and operated North Cape Animal Clinic since 1998
| Dr. Bogert has been happily married to Nico, the world's greatest chef, since 1981. (Visit the Monkey Bar & Steakhouse in Cape Coral for great eats!)
They are currently acting as humble servants to three wonderful dogs (Bugsy, Uno, and Suzette), one gorgeous kitty (Weevil), three impetuous ferrets (Levi, Darwin, and Tuti Fruti), and two hauntingly exotic ball pythons.

Dr. Bogert cares deeply about the environment, especially our very special Southwest Florida ecosystem. She implores everyone not to litter, to recycle everything possible, and to be courteous to all animals and people.

Dr. Patricia M. Leff:

|
| Born and raised in Tinton Falls NJ, Dr. Leff migrated south to attend Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She continued her studies in Gainesville, completing a Master’s of Science degree before graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
After all those years of studying, Dr. Leff is excited to be using her skills and knowledge to better the lives of animals in our community. She is dedicated to providing quality medicine to assure her patients the best possible treatment and is especially thrilled to have returned to North Cape Animal Clinic, where she spent many summers and school breaks working as a volunteer.
During her studies, Dr. Leff became interested in Traditional Veterinary Medicine, otherwise known as Alternative or Eastern Medicine. She is certified in acupuncture, and looks forward to treating patients with this popular and effective modality of medicine.
Dr. Leff lives in Cape Coral with her computer-geek husband, Roger. They are entertained 24-7 by their three dogs, Duke, Star and Ali.
